Institute of Modern Art Shop
The brief for this project was to produce a unique retail space in the £14 million van Egeraat-designed Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.
Artist Andrew Miller was given carte blanche to design an installation which would form the core of the Institute’s shop.
Inscape collaborated with Miller to transform the installation into a fully operational retail space.
Other elements of the project included the design of office and educational spaces in addition to advising on internal signage, and co-ordinating the procurement of furniture for the public spaces.
